you’re welcome, thanks for being here!

Craigers, we’ll expect a little more effort here in the forum during your recovery.

Ha… maybe I’ll start my own forum with booze and hookers!

What are your favorite courses in FL?

Great idea Jon. Looking forward to the interaction.

Welcome! Come join the fun :grinning:

Truly one of the most useful and practical websites in the golf industry…real info for real golfers.
I’m sure the forum will become the same thing but add some interaction of all of us PracGolfers.

Thanks for saying that! So far I think we’ve got a great community starting here. Come join in!

@papageorgio I saw the hidden gems. However, my concern was that some hidden gems may still be really expensive. I would love the cost next to them.

I know I should be swinging smoother, which of course means not going at it all out. These are all great ideas and thoughts that will give me something to try out over the weekend. I have a good routine on making sure I have my alignment correct. I pick out an object a few feet in front of my ball that is on the line I want to go and can then set my feet parallel to that imaginary line. Gets me in a good place and can be done throughout the whole bag. I will keep working it out and with help like this I am sure I will be able to come out with one of the recommendations that will work for me.

Thanks for starting this forum, I participate in the golf forum on reddit as well, are you cross linked in there?

Thanks!
Are you ok if I post a link in there to bring some folks over?

Sure I’m more than happy for you to spread the word about this forum elsewhere - I’d just be careful not to break any of their rules!

I have lots of favorite courses in Florida.

In 2016 I played all 30 of Golfweek Magazines List of Best Course You Can Play in Florida…so everything from TPC Sawgrass to Camp Creek to Black Diamond Ranch’s Quarry Course to Bay Hill to both the Red and Blue courses at Streamsong, to Gasparilla Inn to The Blue Monster at Trump Doral to the two courses at Aventura. I would replay almost anyone of those in an instant. Great memories and great golf.

Presently I live in the Sarasota area were there are several excellent semi-private courses like Lakewood National which hosts a Korn Ferry Tour event, University Park, and Legacy Golf Club.

My favorite, which is a private club, is my home course – The Founders Golf Club.

I have not found a decent (IMHO) golf forum yet. Hopefully this one will change that.

Welcome! It’s early, but I think the conversation here is a little different than other golf forums so far (of course some similarities). Join in and you can decide for yourself

I Fully intend to join in, I am just finding my way around at the moment.
