I live in the Vegas valley, golf all year round. If anyone is from here let’s play. If anyone comes out here, I’ll point you in the right direction of some must play courses.
I live in the Los Angeles area but want to get a golf trip to Vegas together for myself soon-ish. I signed up for this program that was supposed to give me access to Canyon Gate CC for a couple complimentary rounds, but ClubCorp hasn’t gotten back to me on it.
Canyon Gate is a good track.
Good to know! If that falls through, I’d love to hear about what some good “value” courses are around there, especially for walking. I’m pretty forgiving when it comes to course conditions, I just like tracks with something memorable about them and not too crazy expensive.
Great idea, get some playing partners on here!
I’m on Long Island.
Central Valley of Cali.
Yeah I’ll definitely point you in the right direction and if I’m around town, I’d love to hit em around with ya.
Growing the game, that’s the point, right?!
Great idea!
Chicagoland suburbs, Sugar Grove (just west of Aurora).
I was just in Vegas a few weeks ago and played Wolf Creek, TPC Las Vegas and Bears Best, really enjoyed all three courses.
I live in Des Moines, IA. I tend to play anywhere and everywhere within about an hours drive, but have been known to make some longer day trips with some of my buddies.
All three are great courses. Coyote Springs and Paiute are great next time you’re in town.
I’m out of Columbia, Missouri
I was hoping we would get to Paiute while we were in town but wasnt able to make it work
Chicagoland area here. Our season is about to wrap up in the next 60 days or so, and it’ll become simulator golf and indoor training until March-April!
I’m in Louisville, KY. Happy to host a round at Hunting Creek. I think it’s the second best course in the city.
I stay outside of the Chicago area for a week at a time. Peru/LaSalle area. I fly for OSF hospital, usually have about three days a week while I’m here I can play early.
I’ve played Cinder Ridge down in that area a couple times. Otherwise, I’ve played down in Peoria, where there is also an OSF hospital? I can recommend Pine Lakes, just outside Washington or Lick Creek outside Pekin…LC is a challenge.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa… About 4 hours west of Chicago
Yes sir Peoria is our main hospital that we fly patients to. I’ll check out those couple of places.
Not sure if you’re familiar, but the guys from No Laying Up just filmed their ‘Strapped’ series in Peoria. They played Newman and Lick Creek.
EDIT: You can catch the series on YouTube, if you’re interested.
