I am literally dying laughing right now. I am glad I didn’t have coffee in my mouth at the time of reading this, my computer monitor would’ve gotten fried.

Maybe they are just heading for a round of tennis and are well prepared?

I’m not going to touch that with the ten fool pole those guys stuffed in their shorts!

This is probably the perfect segue into a product I truly love: EyeLine Golf’s Balls of Steel! I really feel like they truly do subtly and subliminally teach you how to stroke a putter. You can’t hit them well without making a good stroke. Brilliant and simple and effective! And you don’t even have to put them in your shorts!

One product that I didn’t think about mentioning in my previous post is Lamkin Gripes. Grip cleaning wipes that are absolutely amazing IMO. Since I started using them 6 or 7 years ago, my re-gripping frequency has been cut down a good bit.

So I just got them in and I love the feel. It’s a little more extreme in terms of “separation” than 2 UNDR but I’m used to that. The bamboo material is :+1::+1::+1: thx for the recommendation!

Not really a product, more of a service, but I have to shout out to shaftshack.com. In my opinion it’s the only way to test driver shafts. You can order all the premium shafts in your range and keep them for 3 or 7 days. That way you can hit them outdoors, on the range, on the course, and over a period of time. I tested about 12 this year, three at a time. On multiple occasions I thought one shaft was the loser of the three and then the next day find I liked it the best. Just goes to show you swing differently on different days and notice different things on different days. Ultimately I found a hands down winner that I am absolutely in love with (Graphite Design Tour AD GP 70x) and it showed in my round this weekend- hit more fairways than ever, center contact, long flat bombs with what seemed like effortless swings. Pretty sure I wouldn’t have found such a perfect shaft in one hour on an indoor bay…

I’ve never heard of them but this is brilliant.

Thanks for that! I will now be testing shafts this winter for sure

Thanks for the recommendation! Never heard of this, but it’s a cool idea.

For sure. They also do three wood shafts. Have all the premium shafts. I don’t know why they aren’t a bigger deal. Doesn’t seem like they market or advertise very aggressively. Maybe happy to serve a niche market of golf nuts like us. I actually met the owner to pick up my new shaft as I happened to be passing through Colorado Springs where they are located on my way to a tournament. Super nice guy.

There aldila options are lacking, sadly…

Flexhead tees. Yes it’s a tee and you have to pay money for them (which is a hard thing to do) however they are awesome. Same height every time and I have used same tee for over a year.

My dad was playing the marteeni… whoever had that marketing angle was a genius.

I agree on the benefits of a consistent tee!

I just ordered some! Hadn’t heard of them before you posted, thanks! I break a lot of wooden tees, these will pay for themselves eventually!

I’m not totally sure, but it seems like Aldila itself doesn’t have a ton of options these days. Interestingly though, the Rogue 130 MSI was very high up in the ranking for me. I liked it better than the Ventus and Diamana and others that get a lot of play and attention.

The silver is in my driver now and I love it… the 110.

I have a random aldila shaft in my garage that didn’t get much attention… maybe the alpha rip x? I bought it for $150 and will put it against the white when I get my mavrik driver.
