Life Factoids Outside of Golf

Was bottling some kombucha when I thought that it might be interesting to have a topic for sharing non-golf related facts about ourselves. I’ll start with the fact that I homebrew kombucha. Nothing major, just 5 gallons a month or so.

Kombucha people love their kombucha. It was never for me, but I know people who live and die by the stuff.

Little factoid about me, I write. I’ve written a handful of novels, countless short stories, poetry, and I’m working on a series of children’s books for my son. It’s the thing outside of my humans and golf that I love the most.

I am a manufacturing engineer, and also a horse dentist. Not something you hear everyday.

I love watching any and all sports, I even picked up cricket while we were waiting for our son’s adoption to be finalized last year. Hoping he’ll be a fan as a way to connect with his native culture

I spent a month working in India about 4 years ago. Shopping mall I went to had a cricket batting cage game and I figured I’d give it a try. Couldn’t hit a thing. I did buy a ball as a souvenir though.

I’m a Jets fan.
I feel like there should be a 12 step program for this.
51 years since their last shot at the Super Bowl.

Where in India! My little guy is from Jaipur, we spent most of the trip in New Delhi finalizing paperwork and fun stuff like that

What!?! That’s amazing!

Not a Jets fan here (Packers/Chiefs - due to proximity and familial obligation I get an AFC and NFC team), but I would love to know if actual Jets fans think as negatively about Gase as the rest of us do.

Only pro team I root for is the sf giants… they won the World Series on my honeymoon and when both my daughters were born… it makes the current pain more bearable…

I’m an avid cook… sous vide and cast iron are my two favorite tools.

Mumbai. I was there late May/early June. Hottest climate I’ve ever experienced.

I grew up with horses, went to the academy of equine dentistry in Glenn’s ferry Idaho and I have been doing it as a side job for years. Like to help the horses out and make a little extra. My shoulder has off and on tendinitis from it though. It’s a lot of filing.

I’m a Giants fan living in New England, kind of roped into it from my dad. He grew up in NJ.

I retired out of the Army. Was enlisted, Warrant Officer, and finally Commissioned Officer. I went in the Army to get a college degree because I knew I couldn’t afford it on my own. Fell in love with the Army and aviation, so I applied for and was accepted to flight school. Learned to fly helicopters and went all over the planet doing so. Thailand, Korea, Afghanistan and multiple places domestically. I still use the craft the Army taught me as my day job, flying Air Ambulance. Picked up golf 4 1/2 years ago with the ambition of making the champions tour when I turn 50. I have just over five years left on that journey. I figured if I can fly a helicopter I could surely golf. Well I honestly think flying is easier than golf. Hahahaha. Glad to be a part of this group. Good topic idea @CoryO

Yes.
Poor field decisions start at the top, and the picks in the draft were, odd, at best.

Gase is making a name for himself, but not in a positive way. No small wonder Miami sent him packing.

Gang Green is now Gang Groan. Gase has to go .
