Which Stats are Most Important? (Analysis From my Rounds)

Yes! I kind of look at my game (but don’t specifically track it) as (1) getting into the “scoring zone” and (2) getting the ball into the hole once inside the scoring zone.

For me, as an average bogey golfer, my scoring zone is relatively closer to the hole vs better players (with better approach shots).

Yeah, the scoring method works, and although it sounds like a recipe for bogey golf, its not.
All you have to do is get inside 100 yds with your second shot on a par 4, third shot on a par 5, then get down in 3. It takes the pressure of straining for GIR when that’s for the pros, and strangely enough my stress-free approach shots get closer to the green than they did when I was TRYING for the green.
