Years ago my wife (who only plays a few times a year and was probably 40+ handicap) and I got paired up with a couple guys at our local course. I think I shot 80, and my wife shot 88. She had never broken 100 before but she was just locked in that day. Boy were those guys impressed! I didn’t tell them that was an aberration for her.

Four decades ago, while an 8 hdcp, I shot 72->net 64. Now days, best net is probably around par. I just don’t have capability of making a lot of birdies. Most ever in 3 in a round. However, Once I get on that BogeyTrain, it’s choo-choo mf…
