What shows are you watching?

Alright, somebody had to do it - might as well be me.

What TV shows are you watching lately? I’ll start with some of my recent favorites:

Yellowstone (Paramount)
Peaky Blinders (Netflix)
The Boys (Amazon)
Kingdom (Netflix) - The MMA One
Better Things (FX)

Catastrophe (Prime Video)
Away (Netflix)
Challenger (Netflix)

Not much of a TV guy but those two shows really peaked my interest. Catastrophe is super funny and well, who doesn’t love space (Away and Challenger).

Love Catastrophe! Fleabag is a great one too if you like that

The Boys and I’ve held off on watching it weekly because I know myself and I’m going to have to binge it. It’s so good.

Jean-Claude Van Johnson (Prime) - it’s so perfectly campy and I love Van Damme.

Righteous Gemstones (HBO) - what a perfect cast and the music is :ok_hand:t3::ok_hand:t3::ok_hand:t3:

The Great British Baking Show - my wife and I’s guilty pleasure.

Huge Righteous Gemstones fan!

Schitt’s Creek (Netflix) - great comedy, but not for everyone. know several people I’ve told about it and they hate it. It did just win 7 emmy’s though! I’m on season 3 of 6.

Awesome, I’ll check it out. Thanks for the tip.

My wife absolutely loves Schitts Creek. I could do with or without it. Some of them are pretty funny.

The last few episodes we’ve watched in season 3 have all been awesome. Season 1 was good, season 2 slowed down a little, season 3 has been great. I’m hoping it keeps up since it did win the emmy’s in season 6.

The season one Moira scene filming the commercial is something I could watch on repeat and laugh every time.

Great shows always seem to take a dip in season 2, then totally overcome it after. Season 2 of Breaking Bad was almost unwatchable while the rest of that series was nearly perfect.

Totally agree. I was a big fan, but I’m stumbling to the finish line. I think the last season finally got a little played out for me (my wife is desperate to finish he last few episodes).

A few of my friends have watched it and not everyone finds it funny. One comment I got was, “I’m two seasons in, when does it get funny?” You either love the characters or you don’t!

I’m watching Absentia and reruns of Without a trace. Watched the Tour de France and looking forward to watching the Vuelta Espania and the Masters

I watched the first two seasons of Absentia, felt it was losing a little steam a the end of season 2. Have you watched season 3 yet? Any good?

Last ep here was S2 ep 9 Dr Ouwawae has just been shot

Recently finished Schitt’s Creek and have been watching Cobra Kai the last couple of weeks.

My wife likes Poldark (Amazon) and I watch it for the UK coastal views where I envision golf holes.

Also, my kids love the Masked singer though they’ve never heard of most of the competitors.

Cobra Kai season 1 was hilarious - haven’t watched the other seasons yet

Fun fact, I went to the same elementary school as Ralph Macchio. We used to always look at his picture in the hallway and get excited (this was when he was at peak fame :joy:)

Are you (karate) kidding me? :joy:

After you watch season 2 I want to see a Practical Golf article on the best lessons from both Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai

Yellowstone has been my favorite lately. Looking forward to the new season of Fargo with Chris Rock and The Good Lord Bird on Showtime.
