Welcome to the community! Start here

Just found the site and the forum. Looking forward to the discussion as the blog has been super informative.
I’m an off and on golfer most my life. Never took it serious until a few months ago. I have high ambitions and would one day like to be a single digit handicapper.

Ah yes! First group lesson I had, remarked to my sis, (quietly)" All these ladies look 10 yrs. older than us’! Not a snide remark but good news - apparently you can still play when quite elderly, hooray! Very last round I played last week, a gentleman wanting to play a few holes before his league started, paired up with me and was wonderful to play with.

My mom is 68 and still playing… my grandmother played into her nineties… she was more concerned with her outfit matching and having a glove that had a hole for her ring… we had fun on the course!

I fight with restrictions for new users but this post as well as few others upgrade my status on this forum. Little bit of editing and now I am able to add posts with more pictures.

I definitely want to echo the sentiments of @Bigdadenergy. So glad to have new virtual golf buddies and very thankful that @jon created a positive platform for us to hangout. I’ve had such a wonderful time and this has been such an amazing learning experience for me and my juvenile golf career.

it’s been great so far, I appreciate both of you contributing and keeping the conversation going!

JuanPutt!? Please say yes.

Bigdadenergy!! I have not had the name JuanPutt, but I like it. Rather I am JuanTheGolfer, sometimes Juan05 or on other boards Juan73. But I like the moniker JuanPutt!!!

Where in Nebraska do you live? You may have seen in an earlier post that June 2019 I visited your state to play golf … Tatanka, The Prairie Club, Bayside, Wild Horse, Awarii Dunes, … and Plainview GC. Drove 1300 miles in a couple of weeks, and saw a lot of countryside!!! I would go back in an instant to play again, and a lot of other courses I missed… like Sand Hills!!!

Heck of a golf trip there. If you ever make it back this way I have two friends that are members at Sand Hills and are very kind. I may be able to get you on if the stars align.

Check out JuanPutt on YouTube. I couldn’t find the exact link I wanted to include, but it’s all about side saddle and face on putting (which I am not a fan of), but somewhere there’s a JuanPutt music video and it’s glorious.

I did find JuanPutt and his music!! It made me laugh. THANKS

Thanks for your kind offer to help me get on Sand Hills. I live in Florida, but would get on an airplane in an instant to play there. And hopefully we can play some golf while I am back in Nebraska… it has so many unique community oriented 9 hole golf courses. Well off to the golf course for me. THANKS again.

Glad you got a chuckle out of it.

Telling you, my man, if the logistics work out I’d be more than happy to see what I can do about Sand Hills.

Hit ‘em well today!

I was curious whether any of the winners of the DECADE Foundations app have started using it?
I’m interested in how much manual data collection is required and whether one would benefit from using it alongside a club tracking system like the Garmin CT-10s or Shot Scope V3?

thats great, ty for that
