Superspeed training

Just ordered the Superspeed training system, but a launch monitor isn’t in the budget right now. Anyone here have experience doing this? Can you still get the benefit without knowing your swing speed?

Yes. You will gain swing speed whether you’re measuring or not.

When you go out to hit on a course or range after doing it for a week or two, don’t try to swing faster/harder. You’ll be swinging faster without needing to consciously try.

That’s what I was hoping. Want to work on this during the winter months and hopefully can occasionally get to a range on warmer days to check my progress.

It’s not necessary to have a launch monitor with your training (although it’s helpful). If you follow the protocols it’s more than likely you’re going to see a bump in swing speed (and distance) on the course.
