Strokes gained: data question

@jon Not sure if you know the answer to this question but is all strokes gained data licensed through mark Broadie?

Or is arccos using its own data set?

In other words, is strokes gained consistent across platforms or does each company use its own data set?

I’m more interested in if

The calculation is consistent across all platforms - there is no licensing fee or intellectual property associated with Strokes Gained (unfortunately). However, each company needs to collect its own data to establish the “reference points” for each handicap category to measure against.
