And why?

Currently it’s a one piece mallet in the bag, I have an insert mallet on the bench. No particular system to switching between them, right now I think it’s more because I like the grip on the current one better.

one piece - because that’s what SeeMore putters offers :grinning:

I can play with both and I do. Traditionally I play with a milled but I have an Odyssey Versa that I can score with. I’m a die putter and it gives me that extra revolution or two to fall into the hole. But putter weight, distribution and grip size is more important. I prefer a light blade putter (529g total weight) and a thin grip. Construction is secondary.

Until Scotty Cameron introduces an insert line, I’m sticking with a one piece.

I have both but feel like I have better feel with the one piece.

Jon you really seem to like SeeMore. Can you say more about why? Thanks!

It’s the only putter that’s an alignment system and a technique system. You can read more about their philosophy on their site. I just like it because it removes variables in putting, and gets you setup in the same position every time. Been a huge boost to my game - they have a legion of diehard fans for good reason. IMO they are one of the most underrated equipment companies. Not for everyone but I love them!

I completely agree and am also a SeeMore user, and have been for about 7 years.

In regards to the question at hand, I am a diehard one piece 100% milled guy.

I use a one piece. But not this one (yet) LOL https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intech-Golf-Club-2-Poop-Emoji-Mallet-Putter-35/372440663405?epid=28009206387&hash=item56b731856d:g:YnYAAOSwfhxboQlM

Tried mostly one piece solid milled putters at PGASS yesterday. To me the best feeling was the Odyssey Toulon Design San Diego. Felt the firmest off the face and most responsive. Liked it better than the feel of the Scotty and Mizuno, which felt much softer. As a bonus, the San Diego looked fantastic as well- dark and sleek and clean. Very impressed!

I currently have an insert. I’m brand agnostic and could go either way on my next one. I like the one-piece/milled, but if I find an insert putter I putt better with, I’d use that.

I prefer the more solid feel, and imho better feedback, from a 1 piece milled putter.

My last two have been inserts (Edel and Odyssey) and I’ve loved and hated both at times. I don’t get the kind of feedback I’d like with them.

I miss my old Bettinardi milled one piece. I’m going in for a fitting in a couple weeks. We’ll see what wins out.

I prefer 1-piece, but am currently gaming an Odyssey 7S with the micro-hinge insert. I actually hate the insert though. I was going to get the Toulan Las Vegas H since it’s the same shape and 1-piece, but then I demoed a TM Ardmore 3 and liked it better (I think it was the greater toe hang). I guess I don’t mind inserts as long as they are metal like Aluminum, steel, copper, et al. I’ve always hated inserts like the White Hot and similar.

Do you consciously use the lines when you putt with a Seemore putter or does it become so natural that you forget to use them?

I ordered the Las Vegas Toulon a few weeks back and I absolutely love it. I came from a white hot ex, putter. The insert just feels too soft on long putts for me. The price tag made me choke but I like to justify it by calling it an investment. Scotty Cameron had my eye but not the model style I was looking for really in left handed. The click and the feel of Toulon is awesome!

The H7 hosel is slightly different than the double bend. I was using the double bend face balanced V line fang white hot rx odyssey before I got the Las Vegas Toulon .It’s about half way to toe hang and it does promote a little more arc. I really like the firmer feel.

It’s all about the confidence standing over the ball for me!

We do have insert putters. Check out the black si2 and black si3. The insert is a aluminum insert for soft feel. Feel free to give us a call at 615-435-8015 or [email protected]. Happy to help.

Dumb question, do inserts ever ‘wear out’ or go bad? Anybody ever replaced an insert?
I had a one piece Ping B60 (somebody else liked it too) and it’s replacement (also B60) has an insert. Wondering if I should replace?

Thanks!
