Looking to purchase a push cart once stock is refilled. Anyone have advice?
Been using the Bag Boy Quad XL now for 2 seasons and it’s been great. Easy to push and maneuver and very stable. I am waiting to get another for my wife once they get back in stock.
Inventory is a major issue right now! I personally use one from Clicgear. Big Max and Bag Boy are also great brands.
I’m hoping to have a special offer for readers on a less expensive model that I tried out and really liked, but the shipping container got stuck in customs. The supply chains are an absolute mess still.
Seconded. I use the same and love it. Very smooth and folds ups to a compact size.
I’m thinking this will be a purchase in 2021.
Yes 2020 is not looking good for pushcart inventory, or many other things for that matter
I got a Walker Trolley. It takes one round to get used to but it rolls incredibly well and keeps the bag very tight. It’s got a little more retro vibe to it so it also comes down to if you like that look or not.
I saw those, they are very cool!
I agree, even though may not be everyones cup of tee. I used to have a Clicgear 3.5+ but I think this rolls better, has a better storage set-up, and keeps the bag more secure.
If you can’t wait for Jon’s awesome deal to come in (and I’m sure it will be an awesome deal), rockbottomgolf does have good carts in stock for a good price. I just ordered a Axglo Golf Tri-360 to replace my old two-wheeler. Not a big brand, but very highly rated and a good price compared to others.
I have a Clicgear 3.5+.
My home course is very, very hilly (it’s awful). As it turns out, it’s easier to carry my bag than use my push cart.
My advice is to make sure it’s worthwhile to get a push cart. If you play flat courses or ones with rolling hills, then you should have no problems.
For me it would be easier to just carry the bag than push my cart, but I believe long term it would be much worse on my back. That’s why even NCAA college teams are using push carts these days, those miles add up.
The Clicgear is very cool, the Walker Trolley is pretty basic folds flat. I actually use a bagboy you can find pretty inexpensive and in good shape. Just depends on what you like…
Good luck in your quest
I have the BigMax which is light weight and very easy to push. It is German designed so I feel like I have my white BMW out at my muni course.
Clicgear 3.5+. I have at least 1000 rounds on mine and it is still going strong.
This is what I have as well and it is amazing. Would highly recommend it!
I’ve had a Bag Boy Tri-Swivel for a few years now and no real complaints. I had a Clic Gear for quite a few years, but I was having trouble with the front wheel and brake the last few years. I must have fixed it a dozen times and just got sick of it. I gave it to a buddy and of course it hasn’t broken since lol.
Love my Bag Boy quad- got it on clearance about 4 years ago from Golf Galaxy, added a coupon and picked it up for less than $100.
Don’t have to inflate the tires, and it folds down super compactly.
He beat me to it … I have two, one for me one for my wife, and I love it - it’s durable and functional.
Tip: get a bag with “Top Lock” and it fits into the top bracket - no need for the top strap, so quick mount/unmount!
I bought the Bag Boy Nitron about a year ago from the Golf Mart. It’s been great. Very easy to fold up and pack away. Much lighter than Clicgear.
