Practice Challenge - Sinks (Putting)

I looked at it but didn’t download… what all do you have to pay for?

I bought a lifetime membership for $120 I’m not sure what it costs by the month or year.

Ok. Had to give it another go

Strokes: 18 (even)
Proximity: 1.8 ft

Hit some very nice putts. I had 3 putts that were essentially perfect speed and stopped in the jaws or behind hole. Also made a few nice 3-4 ft’rs

I gave myself 3 putts between 10 and 20 ft and noticed green reading was not great. Speed was great though which keeps you in the game regardless

Thought my control on the longer putts was really good, my longest 2nd putts were on between 15 and 20 ft where I ran one by 3 ft and the other 2.5 ft. The rest of my putts were all inside of 6 inches

Decided to give this another go.

Played 27 today and did this between my first 18 and second 9. I lagged so good in my first 18 and could not in this drill, but did not have a putt fall all round.

I think this drill is probably a good test to perform once or twice per month.

I also noticed that my reads / speed from 10 - 20 ft needed work. I think it’s probably best to allocate lots of time inside of 10 ft, lots of time doing speed control (ladder drill) and then test it every now and again with par 18.

4 - 15 ft putts is where the majority of the separation value probably lives. Most people make a lot of putts inside of 3 ft, most people can lag it near 6 ft.

Converting after an iffy lag putt or that birdie opp is probably what makes you feel like you had a great day on the greens

There is a benefit to going through the full routine and trying to hit 9 solid first putts in a row
