Marking Golf Balls

The big reason these days is going to be factory automation. Having three balls from the same printer go into a sleeve is an easier process than getting three differently printed balls into a sleeve.

I feel like this hurdle could be overcome easily if someone cared enough to do it. Obvi all you low handicaps that only use one ball every three rounds and then retire it to your shag bag dont need to worry about it.

I use a red sharpie to mark a line under the number.yep, easy to ID from afar and I like a little’red’ on my ball.

A blue line as a putting alignment aid; although I play Srixons, and more recently Snells, I’ve found this to also be a generally unmistakable identifier.

Especially when it’s 10 yards ahead of your partners in the middle of the fairway (not nearly often enough for my liking, though…)!
