Golf Christmas Presents

What is everyone asking for this festive period? What’s the must have golf gift?

For me this year:

Range Finder (GPS watch is great, but only gives hazzards, green etc)
Iron fitting Session (not the clubs, not be that good a boy)

I will almost certainly get some balls anyway, and maybe even some that I actually play…or not!

My kids always ask for a list from me. Golf balls and gloves are almost always on my list. I give them the brand I use and where to buy. (Master Grip)
I have guys I play with that use one golf glove till it falls off their hand. I usually rotate 2 or 3 during the round. 4 or more if the humidity is high. No better feeling than a new glove.

Truth. It’s essential here in America’s Swamp and Energy City (Houston). I never realized you could soak a golf glove through til I started playing here.

As for the OP, probably going to ask for a GrooveIt as a stocking stuffer, and then I’m a touch stymied. Most everything I want (GPS Watch or Arccos subscription + club tags; lessons; new wedges; driver fitting; etc…) are all pretty damned pricey.

Maybe a chipping net & shag bag?

I’m not a golf gadget collector but, I think I’ll ask for this one.

What about a custom ball marker (Etsy) or custom head cover (possibly too late now)?

I Merry Christmas’ed myself!! ( long story, but the family gift exchange, over the years, has become a hotbed of petty jealousies and vindictiveness, so I don’t play those reindeer games anymore or participate in gifting except to the little ones).

Found a mint condition Titleist TSI1 driver under $175 on eBay and whistled Santa Claus is Coming to Town while I opened the box. I don’t think it’s ever been played ( sold by a little old lady from Naples Florida, not Pasadena).

I’m also participating in the Reddit Golf Secret Santa.

Love the new glove. Like to bring one out for a big match.
