Got fit for some clubs this afternoon. Big surprise was the driver. I’ve been swinging mine pretty well lately, but felt like my “best” swings were ballooning up and getting too much spin.
In the fitting I started hitting a 9*, which was no surprise, but then we cranked it down to 7.5* (something I probably never would have tried on my own) and it was amazing the difference it made. Great launch and 2k spin, absolute bombs (at least for me).
Guess the moral of the story is get fit, especially for the driver. Have any surprising fitting results from your experience?
