Just a quick note about technical sportswear. I’m a tennis-golf crossover, and I’ve found Sergio Tacchini shirts and jackets to be highly useful both in competition and out on the street, for both tennis and golf.
For golf-specific clothing, I really like Johnston/Murphy both in the outlet malls and mail order. I also have a new pair of Johnston Murphy golf shoes that work well for me. I battle bouts of arthritis in my feet, and when I’m in real pain in the AM, I slip on these golf shoes and wear them the rest of the day for comfort and support, just as I would a pair of sneakers.
