@CoryO I expect a full photo shoot with the new @SeeMorePutters as soon as you get it in your hands. Congrats, buddy.
same here!! Looking forward to seeing them.
Will do. Putting together the virtual fitting now. Super excited to get it in my bag. Thanks @SeeMorePutters!
Thanks, Jon! I get so much from this forum, and this is the icing on the cake!
I agree! After reading on this forum about strokes gained and so on I was thinking about something like Decade. Low and behold @jon pulls one out the bag! So blown away by this forum
Decade is great. I will say it can be summed up very easily (from a strategy standpoint, there’s other mental details) 1) don’t short side yourself and 2) usually hitting it further off the tee is the best play. However, those are easier said than done and understanding the “why” behind it really hammers the theories home and changes your mindset.
I think for most amateurs not playing major competition all the time, it’s a great thing to do for 6 months to get the videos and learn the underlying pieces. Also is great for stat tracking. After 6 months (which I’m coming up on) I’ll move to something else for stat tracking, but not because Decade isn’t worthwhile - just isn’t what I need.
Just got off my Zoom fitting with Cody at @SeeMorePutters. Great to work with! Going with the Mini Giant Deep Flange.
34” and 1* upright. Can’t wait to get it in the bag!
That’s a beauty! Can’t wait to hear how it works for you. Have you ever used a straight in center shafted putter?
That is fantastic! Cody is the man! Thanks for taking time to schedule with him. Keep us posted.
Never in the bag, but I’ve tried them out in the past and seems to help get my eyes in the right place.
Beautiful!!
I got my SC300 in today! Excited to fire it up after work. And I have a putter fitting scheduled for Saturday morning. Man I live in the wrong part of the world. I just want to get out and play!
I have fingers crossed my package comes in before tomorrow at lunchtime when I head to the course… you’re giving me some hope!
Thanks Jon! I was planning on getting a new driver next season, so this should be a big upgrade for me! I also already have a second shaft for it because I’m a crazy person.
I’m just enjoying the community!
I’m lucky to have a lot of friends in the industry support the contest, but it’s really been awesome to see how excited people were to get their prizes. I wish I could’ve done more. I’ll try to do more in the future as well!
Holy crap man, you have to be one of the nicest people on the You’ve done so much. Creating this forum where the people who want to be here are here and are a positive influence. Your interaction with us and bringing in equipment and coaching professionals to interact is worth the price of admission. The gifts or prizes are just added bonus and not even necessary. Thank you for being awesome.
I don’t know about that but thanks for the kind words. The forum has worked out better than I imagined - a constant reminder that you don’t know if something will work until you try! (I had my doubts)
So cool! That was a lot of amazing swag
Story I heard a while back … may be urban legend? … but pretty much every house, farm, workshop, etc. in the country has a can of WD40 somewhere…
… Story is the inventor failed -39- times before he hit on the right formula…!!
Or … to quote Master Yoda…
“There is no ‘try’ - only DO.”
And here is my totally awesome over the top generous and beautiful gift…
Jon - how’d you know I like navy blue?!?
^ zoom in on the right you’ll see this nice touch of two black leather straps near the top of the bag
^ detail of the top (~ 7 x 10)
^ my “helpers” helping me show it off
I know where this thing is meant to go play (bucket list Bandon) but now not sure when I can get there. This may sound silly but I’ve been waiting to go until my game improved - which it really has this year - and there’s a small possibility of a trip to the PNW next Spring or Summer…
