“Heavy putter” is a trigger for me.
When caddying as a teenage the course had a heavy putter demo day and both bags I was carrying took one out. Not fun.
How heavy?
I gamed a hog mallet before oversized putters were cool.
My putter weighs about 1.3 lbs, but a regular Heavy Putter goes about 2
Yea I’m talking about the actual brand Heavy Putter.
The thing just looks heavy (and this looks smaller than the ones I was carrying)
Looked at the SeeMore putters, going on my wish list for sure.
They are pretty neat. I am seriously considering putting one in my bag, even though I just got a brand new putter. I think @jon mentioned this in another post about putting yips, but sometimes a simple change of equipment can help get rid of the yips. I don’t have them. currently, but it’s a good enough excuse to tell myself, in order to justify its purchase.
Here is a preview video that Pat O’Brien, SeeMore Global Ambassador, on youtube that might help talking about the yips.

Got myself to a PGA Superstore today. Tried as mugshots as I could. My favorite putter in the terms of the balance was actually the Axis1. It just seemed to effortlessly return to square for me every time in perfect rhythm. Fun! They didn’t have any Edels. They had some L.A.B.’s on consignment. Those things are crazy looking! I bet I could get used to it though…
I’m really interested in the lab… maybe one day they’ll have one near me!
Or I’ll find an excuse to go to Nashville.
Busy today but send Brandon a note at [email protected]. You are not far from us at all! Thanks!
Thanks! I’ll do that next time I’m in Nashville. Wife and I were celebrating our ten year anniversary and took the kids to Opryland for the splash park… finished the trip at the dragon park and pancake pantry… they outvoted me going to a putter fitting 3-1.
gotcha! See you next time! Safe travels!
