Increase in club head speed

Just wanted to share something I stumbled upon w the community. I’ve been looking into various ways to generate club head speed for my dad which subsequently got me interested in seeing if I could improve. I’ve been looking at super speed, yoga, fitness programs etc.

Anyway I stumbled on this video and found it extremely interesting, it all has to do with swing sequencing. Long story short, in one range session I picked up 5+ mph in swing speed and 12mph in ball speed w my driver measured w sc300.

I know the sc300 is not necessarily perfectly accurate w the driver but for me at least it is very consistent, and there was a huge jump in my numbers.

Anyway here’s the video - Watch it at your own risk!

Haha I know, I thought this one was kind of in the gray area since it doesn’t actually show a human swinging a club :grimacing:

If it shows a non-human swinging a club, I’ll definitely click.

YouTube can def overwhelm you with videos haha, this one seems like it’s trying to convince you to take a lesson from them because it doesn’t really tell you how to improve the things it’s talking about. “Move the hands faster, in the right direction, and when you work on the right things you will improve” that was paraphrased.

I’m a big fan of AMG and I’m not surprised by what they said in this video. Justin James, one of the longest hitters in the world, has talked about the importance of training “chop strength” in order to quickly accelerate the club down in transition. Bryson has talked about his intent of using his lats to pull the club down in transition. Gotta get the club moving fast early.

There’s a second video that elaborates but I didn’t dare post it! :joy:

Now you’ve got to post it.

The thing I take from the video is how easy it is to get a swing thought that ruins your swing.
