Foresight Sports GCQuad Review After Three Months of Testing

I’ve been using the Foresight GCQuad for the last few months. Both indoors and outside. And figured I’d drop my honest take on it in case anyone’s considering it.

First off, yeah, it’s expensive. But this thing is not just for looks. It’s legit one of the most accurate launch monitors I’ve ever used. And I’ve tested a few.

Here’s what stood out right away:

  • Setup is fast. I didn’t need a huge space. You just drop it down, turn it on, and it’s ready to go in like 30 seconds. No calibration rituals or constant tweaking.
  • The accuracy is no joke. Ball speed, spin rate, carry—it’s dead-on. It doesn’t miss shots like some cheaper ones do, and the consistency is solid.
  • Club data is optional (you’ll need stickers), but if you’re working on your swing or teaching, it adds a lot of value.
  • FSX 2020 and FSX Pro software look clean and run smooth. I’ve mostly used FSX 2020 for simulation and FSX Pro when I just want raw feedback on the range.

I’ve got mine paired with a SIG10 enclosure setup at home, and I take it outside now and then for short game work. Works well in both environments. You just need decent lighting for putting sessions if you’re indoors.

Things that caught me off guard (in a good way):

  • The carry distance and spin numbers matched what I saw on the course.
  • Putting data is actually useful—not just a gimmick.
  • It runs on battery and lasts long enough for range sessions or a full lesson block.

Now for the real:

  • If you’re not using the club data, you might be overbuying.
  • The software packages are pricey. You’ll need FSX 2020 or FSX Play to unlock course play, and that’s extra on top of the unit.
  • Club stickers can be annoying if you’re constantly rotating between clubs.

But overall, if you’re after elite-level data and care about consistency, the GCQuad delivers.
Whether you’re coaching, trying to build a dialed-in simulator, or just want to get the most out of your practice, it’s a serious tool.

Anyone else here using the GCQuad regularly? I’m thinking about testing it with GSPRO or Creative Golf next. Would be interested to hear how it compares.
