That was CRAZY!!!
Skipped across the pond onto the green? Mmmmk, we all get lucky sometimes, but to hole it out?! Too bad it wasn’t in regulation!
It’s going to be a little strange watching the Masters w/o fans present and azaleas blooming, but some fall colors could be neat, along with the different CBS camera angles. I just hope the weather cooperates.
This rain delay is the worst! I’m clicking through the guys who finished their opening holes just to get a little Masters fix waiting out this storm
Anyone using the Masters app? I’ve got it here on my work desk playing on the iPad. Its a very good app. Very distracting for working!
Really enjoying the app while “working” as well. Odd at first with no commentary but hearing the nature sounds of golf shots, plus bits and pieces of players chatter, is awesome. Enjoy!
Loving the no commentary.
Where are all the Bryson bombs! He’s in his own head since it’s not going as far as he said it would. Changing to 3 wood on 18 was interesting after taking practice swings.
I wish Tiger could make a putt over the last day and a half. He has burned the edge about 8 or 9 times for birdie.
I hope Bryson gets that dizziness problem fixed, soon!
On another note, just got to respect Langer, a golfer who’s 63, beats Bryson by a shot, and PUTTS his age! https://twitter.com/TheMasters/status/1327694640141766661
I think he’ll be ok… at least I hope so.
I think he’s good for golf, even if people don’t love him… I like guys who take the approach of I’m going to do what I think I need to do to win.
Langer is an amazing ball striker, but I’m with others on here - he’s anchoring the putter.
I wonder had he won or been in contention if he would’ve expressed the same thing about the dizziness. It seems like a great excuse when you don’t play your best, especially after saying 67 was your par.
I have wondered, if that’s what he’s doing, why don’t the rules people call him out on it? Because he wasn’t near the lead, or ??? sure looks like an awkward way to putt.
Like many, I think he’s good for golf overall. But man when he talks it makes it tough to like him. Sounds like the guy who after the round says “well I would have shot a 78 if not for the 3 lost balls I had on the back”
Rule is you can’t touch your hand or the club to the chest/stomatch… it’s a very gray area since you can’t tell with certainty but it sure looks like he’s anchoring most of the time.
He wins on the Champions Tour so it’s not a being in contention thing.
