Nice! Love my sub70 clubs as well… interestingly, Jason helped me find a better fit after I was torn between two shafts at my last fitting.
People said I was silly to buy blades as when I bought them I had only broken 90 once. Buying them unseen was a leap of faith but my 2nd 3rd and 4th rounds with them shot new low scores on my course. Sure you get penalized for off centre hits but the good ones are better than good. Yesterday 161m out to a green way up above me and was laying up with a 7i and hit a draw that landed just short and ran up to the back fringe. A slight tailwind? 18th definitely a head wind 170 out and again hitting 7i my draw made the front right corner with a back left pin on a huge green. 3 putted but got the line wrong and finished 15ft offline. They are great shiny irons with no offset and when you address the ball they look so thin at address. I don’t know if I could ever go back to chunky irons. And they were so cheap only costing 399 British pounds.Definitely feels like I got a bargain.
I’m glad blades work for you! I’m still not sold but I love the look of the ta3 from sub70…
People think they are hard to hit. Sure when I first got them it took around 30 shots on the range to get one up in the air with a decent flight, but I worked them out and they actually improved my swing. Had to make my swing wider and less steep.
